President Putin on Wednesday weighed in on President Trump’s critics and American politicians he sees as either ‘stupid’ or ‘dangerous in the continued undermining of their own political process.   He said his country is ready to provide transcripts of the meeting between his Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Trump to dispel any “political schizophrenia” on allegations that any sensitive information could have been disclosed.

Speaking at a Press Conference following a meeting with Italian Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni, Putin said, “If the US administration deems it possible, we are ready to provide the Senate and Congress with the transcript of the conversation between Lavrov and Trump.”

Russian President Vladimir Putin has offered to provide transcripts for the Lavrov-Trump meeting to end the controversy of leaked classified information.

A spokesperson for the Kremlin later clarified Putin’s statement to indicate the transcript in question was written and not recorded.

The weighing in by Russian President into US internal politics comes as President Trump faces coordinated brutal assaults on his Presidency from all sides in a bid to undermine, derail and eventually halt his overall agenda and to govern effectively.

The assault on Trump comes after the Washington Post published a report on Monday claiming the President “revealed highly classified information to the Russian Foreign Minister and Ambassador in a White Meeting” on May 10.

The White House has vehemently denied the allegations with senior Administration officials dismissing the report as “false”.  Trump has defended his “absolute right” to share information with foreign leaders deemed necessary to the meeting at the time saying,

“As President I wanted to share with Russia (at an openly scheduled W.H. meeting) which I have the absolute right to do, facts pertaining to terrorism and airline flight safety.  Humanitarian reasons plus I want Russia to greatly step up their fight against ISIS & terrorism.”

With the current toxic environment and dysfunctionality of the U.S. political system, it’s unsurprising that Putin, like other foreign leaders, is making mockery of the self-destructive nature of American politics saying U.S. suffered from “political schizophrenia” which mas making it impossible for Trump to function properly.

“It’s hard to imagine what else these people who generate such nonsense and rubbish can dream up next,” he said.

Those who are “destabilizing the internal US political situation using anti-Russian slogans either don’t understand they are bringing this nonsense in their domestic politics. Either they are just stupid or they understand everything, in which case they are dangerous and corrupt people.”

While the political hysteria and hyperbole over the assumed damage caused by the alleged leakage of state secrets has grown to fever high pitch, Israel has affirmed its commitment to continue working with the US. British Prime Minister Theresa May has also vowed to continue sharing intelligence data with the United States.

Russia has repeatedly cautioned of US politicians using anti-Russian rhetoric to stir up fears of any close ties with Moscow in a bid to sabotage any rapprochements from the Trump Administration and to damage his presidency in the process.
