President Trump is the projected winner of the high stakes Iowa caucuses after shattering historic record highs and beating his rivals by over a 30-points margin.
Newsmax and other news networks called the result for former President Donald Trump barely 33 mins after the opening of the caucuses and with just one percent of the votes counted, in a blowout victory.
The early calls by almost every major news network was prompted by the overwhelming lead and margin Trump held against all other candidates, making his win an avalanche.
In a historically unprecedent dominant fashion, Trump won 98 of 99 counties, an unparalleled feat which saw his rivals eclipsed by the resounding victory, shattering historic records set since Iowa began caucusing.
Trump continues to be the frontrunner eclipsing his opponents in every demography both in Iowa, New Hampshire and other states throughout the country.
Having garnered the most votes that also earned him 20 delegates, Trump is now the presumptive nominee who has left behind his challengers in a dust of electoral loss. His two remaining challengers, DeSantis and Haley are now vying for second place. In this race.
The candidates are now moving on to the next stop for the next upcoming election which is New Hampshire.
Nikki Haley is already in New Hampshire whereas President Trump is scheduled to hold a rally in Atkinson within the same state later this afternoon after his appearance at a New York civil case earlier today. Ron DeSantis, on the other hand, has opted to skip New Hampshire and instead, proceed to the next election 2024 battleground, South Carolina, which happens to be Harley’s home turf.
The New Hampshire primary is a week away and that is where all the two challengers to Trump are hoping to either defeat him or cut his lead to a single digit.
