Charlie Kirk, Conservative Influencer And Founder of Turning Point USA DEAD At 31. Gunned Down In Political Assassination At UV University, Utah

Conservative influencer, youth icon and founder of Turning Point USA (TPUSA), Charlie Kirk, has died. He was gunned down and killed by a single shot on the neck during a freespeech event at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah, on Wednesday. He was 31-years old.

Efforts to resuscitate him at a hospital where he was rushed to by his security, failed. He was pronounced dead two and a half hours later.

Since founding TPUSA in 2012, Kirk had become known for his regular freespeech events which he held in colleges and universities across the United States. He was at UV University on a similar event when he was gunned down on Wednesday.

Reports indicate that he was short at about 2 minutes into the Q&A session with the students on campus.

He leaves behind a young family and a devasted Conservative community. Charlie Kirk is survived by his wife, Erika Kirk and two young children, a 3-year old daughter and 16 months old son.
