President Trump’s adversarial relationship with the media is one for the history books.  After teasing the media for weeks with the “Fake News Awards”, President Trump finally revealed the highly anticipated awards” on Wednesday night in the form of a list posted on the Republican National Committee (RNC)’s website and after first making a tease announcement via Twitter.

The RNC website immediately crashed due to high volume traffic because of the popularity of the awards.  The New York Times topped the list with CNN receiving multiple awards.

The list included 11 “Fake News” reports from the usual suspects: 4 went to CNN, 2 to The New York Times and one each to The Washington Post, ABC, Newsweek and TIME.

With each nomination, a mention of the “fake news” or “fake story” that was either broadcast or published by the outlet was included.

The list also noted that “studies have shown that over 90 percent of the media’s coverage of President Trump is negative” even going further by stating that “2017 was a year of unrelenting bias, unfair news coverage and even downright fake news.”

Below are the winners of the 2017 Fake News Awards as they appeared on the GOP site.

President Trump awarded the “Fake News Awards” to CNN, New York Times, CNN, ABC and The Washington Post.

Topping the list is a Trump-hating liberal economist and New York Times Op-Ed columnist, Paul Krugman for his prediction that the stock market under a Trump presidency would crash and never recover. The paper also reported on its front page that the Trump Administration has hidden a climate report.

The second “Fake News Award” went to none other than ABC’s Brian Ross whose false reporting and misrepresentation of important facts regarding former Trump Admin’s National Security Advisor Michael Flynn caused a near crash of the stock market.

ABC was followed by multiple “Fake News Awards” winner, CNN for its numerous false reports and coverage of President Trump and his young administration.

TIME’s false report that President Trump had removed the bust of Dr. Martin Luther King from the Oval Office after inauguration caused uproar in the country and among Congressional Black Caucus leading to accusations that the new occupant at the White House was a “racist”.

TIMES Magazine was awarded the “Fake News Award” after falsely reporting that during a tour in Europe, “Polish First Lady, Agata Kornhauser-Duda did not shake President Trump’s hand” when she was clearly photographed shaking his hand and holding it firm.

However, the 11th “Fake News Award” did not go to any single publication or reporter but to the fake Russia collusion witch hunt which to this day, still has no evidence to prove the alleged “collusion” crime.

After listing all the awards winners, it then went on to indicate that, “While the media spend 90% of the time focused on negative coverage or fake news,” President Trump had been “getting results” on the following:

  1. The economy has created nearly 2 million jobs and gained over $8 trillion in wealth since the President’s inauguration.
  2. African Americans and Hispanics are enjoying the lowest unemployment rate in recorded history.
  3. The President signed historic tax cuts and relief for hardworking Americans not seen since President Reagan.
  4. President Trump’s plan to cut regulations has exceeded “2 out for every 1 in” mandate, issuing 22 deregulatory actions for every one new regulatory action.

  6. ISIS is in retreat, having been crushed in Iraq and Syria.
  7. President Trump followed through on his promise to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of the State of Israel and instructed the State Department to begin to relocate the Embassy.

  9. Signed the Veterans Accountability and Whistleblower Protection Act to allow senior officials in the VA to fire failing employees and establishes safeguards to protect whistleblowers.
  10. President Trump kept his promise and appointed Associate Justice Neil Gorsuch to the U.S. Supreme Court.
