With vote counting still ongoing in other key states, Newsmax has called the state of North Carolina (NC) for President Trump, giving him 15 more electoral votes.  Tom Tillis is also projected to win back his seat against Democrat challenger Cal Cunningham, ensuring that the Republicans maintain control of the Senate.

Despite the reluctance by the mainstream media to call this one for Trump, he, nonetheless, maintained a constant and steady lead in North Carolina since election day and has led Joe Biden with 50.1% over his 48.7%.

This now leaves other swing states like Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan, Wisconsin and Arizona whose results are still being contested to determine the winner in those highly contested races and in some cases, challenged electoral results.

Shortly after Newsmax made the announcement, Cunningham conceded, ensuring Tillis’ return to Washington, DC.
