President Trump arrived in Davos for the World Economic Forum (WEF) in great fanfare and was immediately treated like a rock star. He was on a 2 day visit in the small town in the Swiss Alps where he brought his “America First” message to an out-of-touch global elite who gather once annually at that resort for discussion.

People including CEOs, tycoons and world leaders held up their expensive cellphones and swarmed towards Trump as he made his way to the Conference Hall.
“People had their phones, they were taking pictures, sort of looked like a rock concert, frankly,” described one reporter from an anti-Trump U.S. cable network. “It was like a rock star welcome in that, wow, everyone wanted to see Donald Trump,” he continued.
Although the place was crawling with global CEOs, wealthy tycoons and world leaders who often move around with their small entourage, it was different with President Trump whose his first showing at this global elitist gathering immediately stole the limelight. He was the Davos political rock star with a big crowd that followed him around.
“There were hundreds and hundreds of people around the President as he came in. He is getting a big reception…it is a big reception,” said the same reporter.
“I’ve been doing Davos for 15, 16 years and I have never seen a reaction quite like this,” said another reporter, CNN Money’s Richard Quest.
The reception was so warm and friendly and beyond expectation as President Trump received praise from allies, a reception in his honour and a dinner with European executives who were fawning over him and took turns to outdo each other in a bid to impress him.
When asked by reporters if he had expected a warm welcome at the forum, in typical classic Trumpian-style, he gestured to the crowds following him and said, “I already am. Take a look, you tell me,” drawing laughter from the crowd and delegates around around him.
Although a successful businessman and a billionaire tycoon in his own right, Trump has never been invited to Davos and was also someone they did not like. Being the President of The United States changed all that. This is the first time ever that he has been invited and attended the World Economic Forum. He is also the first U.S. President since 2000 after Bill Clinton to attend and addressed the forum.
Davos is deemed the swampiest of the swamps where the out-of-touch globalist elites gather once annually to discuss how the rest of ordinary folks around the globe should live.
It is where the filthy rich out-of-touch elites and celebrities come in their huge private jets and meet to, ironically, discuss about the environment.
Media pundits had predicted confrontation as well as a [staged] group walkout by African leaders in protest over President Trump’s alleged incendiary “s***hole” comment – a media-hyped anticipated action which ended up not happening.
Maybe cooler heads did prevail among those African leaders who were present with the exception of only two who followed George Soros’ plan and walked out.
In fact, it went so well for President Trump in Davos that some people including the Trump-hating mainstream media were so disappointed that he did not “crash and burn” as they had so wrongly predicted. They were also disappointed as to why there were no protestors to greet and humiliate President Trump in Davos.
If anything, Trump became a sort of political rock star that even the global elites couldn’t help but be fascinated by a man they had snubbed and rejected, wondering how he managed to be the President of the world’s most powerful nation and thereby become the most powerful man in the world.
Trump won them over and had the globalists eating from his hand, trying to outdo each other to impress him.
