Former U.S. President and leading presidential candidate for 2024, Donald Trump, survived an assassination attempt after a bullet grazed his right ear on Saturday during a re-election rally at the Butler Farm grounds in Butler, Pennsylvania.
The bullet, inches away from a catastrophe, narrowly missed Trump’s head in what has been deemed miraculous.
The entire incident which unfolded LIVE on television and other media platforms, was witnessed by millions across the globe. The incident occurred moments after President Trump got on the podium and was barely minutes into his speech.
A barrage of shots were heard, Trump seemed to grab his ear before he ducked. Secret Service Agents rushed to his protection as screams were heard from the crowd.
Moments after the shooter had been taken down and the threat neutralized, it was then that a blooded Trump, still swamped by his Secret Service protectors, rose up from the floor and like a phoenix rising, waived a defiant fist towards his supporters to assure them that he was okay.
Defiantly, he waved the symbolic fist of freedom in the air while mouthing the words, “FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!” as he was quickly rushed off stage and whisked away from the rally by a swarm of Secret Service agents.
The incident has left the much divided nation in shock, with loud calls for immediate investigation coming from both sides of the political aisle.
The situation is still unfolding and more is yet to be revealed about the perpetrator and assassin who was taken by a single bullet to the head by sharp shooter sniper.
In the meantime, messages from leaders all over the world have been coming, all in condemnation of the assassination attempt. The world as well, is praying for President Trump and his entire family.
