President Trump accompanied by First Lady Melania Trump arrived aboard Air Force One in the United Kingdom on Monday morning around 9:00 on a 3-day state visit .  They landed at Standsted Airport in Essex where they were then airlifted by Marine One to Winfield House, the U.S. Ambassador’s house where they will be staying.

The official visit began later that same day when the President and First Lady were taken by Marine One to Buckingham Palace where theythey were met by Prince Charles and Camilla.  They were officially welcomed by The Queen and a 21-gun salute which marked the Welcoming Ceremony.

Accompanied by Prince Charles, President Trump inspected the Honour Guard at the Palace and afterwards,

After a private lunch with The Queen at Buckingham Palace, President Trump, First Lady Melania, Ivanka Trump and Jared were shown a private a  private Royal Collection of art and artifacts at Buckingham Palace museum.

The Queen acted as guide to the Trump and Mrs Trump, sharing the history behind each art and artifact while Prince Harry watched from behind.

After Buckingham Palace, the President and First Lady visited the historic and archaeological wonder, Westminster Abbey where they paid respect to the tomb of the unknown soldier by laying a wreath.

After a short guided tour of the Abbey, they left for Clarence House where they were invited for High Tea by Prince Charles and Camilla.

The busy first official day was capped off by a lavish Royal State Dinner at the Bucking Palace hosted by The Queen later that evening.  It was a night of glitz and glamour with all the pomp and circumstance of royalty that go with it.

It was a night where almost all of the British Royals and The Trumps mingled and impressed the world, joined by dignitaries and government officials.

After speeches and great dinner, the night capped off the first official which was all about pomp and pageantry.
