Outspoken former Democrat-turned Republican Conservative activist Candace Owens known for her blunt criticism of her former party made another news headline on Tuesday during an address to the House Judiciary Committee hearing on the rise of “Hate Crimes an White Nationalism.”
Not one to shy away from expressing her views no matter the political sensitivity or consequence, the self-styled Young Black Conservative who is also the Communications Director for Turning Point USA, accused Democrats of using the hearing as a clarion call to further divide the nation by employing identity politics to stir up hate and fear on dissenting voices in the run-up to the 2020 Election.
In a scathing attacks, Owens also dismissed the notion that America is “more racist” today than it was in the past, citing a personal story.
“Let me be clear the hearing today is not about white nationalism or hate crimes, it is about fear mongering, power and control,” she said.
“It is a preview of a Democrat 2020 election strategy the same as the Democrat 2016 election strategy…The goal here is to scare Blacks, Hispanics, gays and Muslims into helping them censor dissenting opinions ultimately to helping them regain control of our countries narrative which they feel that they lost,” said Owens.
Punch after punch, the outspoken Candace Owens exposed what many in the Black Community now see as Democrat hypocrisy and a tactic used to gain electoral votes by using race and other identity narratives to keep them in perpetual hate and fear.
“The biggest scandal in American politics is that Democrats have been conning minorities into the belief that we are perpetual victims all but ensuring our failure. Racial division and class warfare are central to the Democrat party platform. They need Blacks to hate whites, the rich to hate the poor. Soon enough it will be the tall hating the short.”
